What are the Rights and Obligations of Membership?

  • Every Member must abide by the Charter and any rules set under the Charter by the Club's democratically-elected committees (but no rules can detract from the Member's fundamental rights). As well, of course, a Member must pay the membership fee (payable only upon joining, with no further membership fees later).

  • In return the Member receives:

    1. private beautiful vacation land near Port Vila, Vanuatu's capital,

    2. the right to use the Club's facilities and services, and to participate in the Club's social activities, and

    3. the right to participate in the Club's management on a democratic basis.

  • Further, Members meeting appropriate criteria have a preferential right to bid to supply goods or services to, or apply for employment openings with, any service enterprises created by the Club.
